Update #2:  Fallapalooza 2014 Training Camp

EVENT:                 KC Fraser & OCSRA present:  Fallapalooza 2014 Training Camp

DATES:                  Saturday, September 20th & Sunday, September 21st, 2014

VENUE:                 Welland International Faltwater Centre – North Course www.wifc.ca

 


Updates

1.       We have 107 participants taking part in the camp! 

 

2.       Participants will sign in on Saturday, September 20th at 8:30 am by the parking lot drop-off area.  Participant pick up time has been changed to 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 21st at the parking lot drop-off area.

 

3.       All 2014 U15/U13 athletes MUST use their own PFD (life jacket).

Reminders:

4.       Accommodation - All participants will be sleeping on the main level of the WIFC facility.  A separate sleeping area will be provided for boys and girls.  Washroom and shower facilities are available.  Participants need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries.  Participants can also bring an air/camping mattress.

 

5.       Meals - Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Day 1; Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on Day 2.  Water and snacks will also be available both Day 1 & 2.  Participants may also bring additional snacks (peanut free please!).

 

6.       Boat Transportation - Participants/Clubs are responsible for transporting their own singles.  Please drop the boats off at the end of the parking lot.  Arrangements have been made to transport crew boats. 

 

7.       Registration - Clubs have been invoiced for their participants.  Only one (1) cheque will be accepted from each club for the clubs total registration fees.  A completed application form must be either emailed to Ryan Blair ryanlblair@gmail.com or submitted at sign-in on Saturday morning.

 

 

What to Bring

·         Singles (kayak or canoe)

·         Paddle, blocks, floorboard, seat, footrests

·         Multiple paddling clothes (it may rain on Sunday)

·         Running shoes, running gear

·         Sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, air/camping mattress

·         Lots of warm clothes to wear off the water!

·         Personal water bottle

·         Any additional snacks
