OCSRA’s Winter Ski Camp

OCSRA is hosting a Winter Ski Camp on February 6-8 in North Bay, ON.  The camp is open to all athletes.  Participants will ski at least twice a day.  No experience is necessary, however each participant is responsible for their own ski equipment.  Equipment can be rented at the ski lodge at the participants own expense.

Athletes will be staying at a local hotel.  Accommodation and food will be included in the camp cost.  Full camp information, including registration details will be provided on January 7, 2015.

KPI Testing & CKC’s online training log, Smartabase

Athletes from OCSRA’s OHPSI, OAAP and Development Team programs took part in CKC’s off-water Key Performance Indicator (KPI) testing at the Rideau Canoe Club in Ottawa and the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario in Toronto this month.

Testing results have been inputted into CKC’s Smartabase.  Smartabase is an online training log where athletes and coaches can input their daily training activities and testing results.  Each team athlete should have received a log-in confirmation email to access the Smartabase system.
